Sucker Trap was brought together by guitarist Pinto Stiletto. They played their first show as a band, on Saturday. Bringing a whole lot of energy and creativity to the Fox Cabaret. The band is fronted by Betty Bathory, who’s stage name is Mr Smythe. The rhythm section consists of Jayme Black on bass and Dave Troutman on drums, with Melissa Lee rounding out the sound with her keytar.
NEW ARRIVALS
After hearing that Edmonton based Chairman’s gig fell through that night, Sucker Trap added them to their bill. Chairman watched as they waited their turn to soundcheck.
PLAYING WITH FIRE
Betty gets experimental while testing some pyrotechnics that will be used in the show.
WHERE TO FIND GOOD MANGA?
Around 7:00 Jayme heads down the block to Sushi Kaido to get the band some dinner before they go on. As he orders he has a conversation with the girl behind the counter about where to find good manga outside of Japan. She recommends used books stores. If you’re going to find the good stiff it’s most likely there.

Betty calls in a favour to her friend, Bonnie Buchart to come in to play a sex bot, who meets a grisly demise.
