After 30+ weeks on the Canadian rock charts Alanna and Brianne Finn-Morris aka Fionn returns to Vancouver with a number one hit.
It’s been two years since I last saw and photographed Fionn, and a few months more than that, from when I last spent a day with them. And boy does two years make a difference. Since then the local twins have begun to have notice taken upon them, not just from the local scene but from elsewhere in Canada and the US. Back in November 2023, at the very same venue, The Pearl, there was a lot of room to move around. Luckily, no, deservingly, there wasn’t a ton of room this time.
Most people will know the name Fionn, from their viral “Toxicity” cover, but it’s time to take notice of the duo for all that they bring to the table, for it’s their time, and they’re ready to continue seizing the moment.
Hopefully it won’t be two year until I see them again…
