October 2022 Vancouver Event Preview

Highlighting just some of the shows coming to town this month.

Lake Street Drive

The month starts off with the crooning, Michael Bublé, at Rogers Arena. If that’s not your speed, you can head over to the Commodore Ballroom and get your groove on with Five Alarm Funk. You’ll have your choice of flavour on the 3rd, Airbourne is at the Commodore. Down the street at the Vogue is GWAR, while the Black Keys takes the stage over at Rogers Arena. The Black Keys are followed the next night by Florence and the Machine. The rest of the weeks highlights see Trixie and Katya bring their drag show to the Queen Elizabeth Theatre, on the 5-6th. Another double date, this time in the form of 54-40 at the Commodore. They play the 7-8th.

Week two sees Lake Street Drive play the Orpheum on the 11th. The next night Everclear is next door at the Commodore. A few nights later on the 14th, Wolf Alice takes the same stage at the Commodore. Also performing on 14th is Jr De Guzman, he at the Vogue.

Arkells

The following week brings comedian Jim Jeffries to the Orpheum. That same night the Zac Brown Band plays Rogers. The Commodore is also busy that night with King Princess, this all happens on the 21st. Jeffries also entertains the following night. The Rickshaw is home to L7 on the 22nd. While the Arkells rock Rogers, on the 25th.

The final week of the month Animals as Leaders are at the Commodore, on the 26th. Wardruna are also playing that night, they’re at the Orpheum. Rogers see Karol G take the stage on the 29th. The Vogue sees Mark Normand bring the funny on the 30th.
